APPOINTMENT Cancellation Policy
Please respect our time. We run a very tight schedule and require 48 hours notice if you are unable to make your scheduled time slot.
For any last minute cancellations or “NO SHOWS“, HIGHLIGHT SALON Hair reserves the right to charge 25% of the total price of the service booked, for the time that has been reserved. If it is an emergency situation, this policy does not apply.
If you are late for your appointment, we reserve the right to push your appointment to the next available slot.
This policy includes a “NO SHOW” of scheduled appointment. If three appointments are consecutively cancelled /rescheduled (within 48 hr notice)/no showed, Highlight Salon has the right to decline pre-booked appointments from said client and will only be able to get a service at Highlight Salon by a walk-in appointment alone, as well as declined from our online booking system.
We have a 05 days guarantee on the satisfaction of your hair. If for whatever reason you are dissatisfied, we will happily “REDO” or adjust the hairstyle or color to bring it to your satisfaction.
The service must be of equal or lesser value and is at the salon’s discretion based on original consult. Redo service must be scheduled within the 05 day time limit. But NO refund on service payments – All charges / cancellation policies are subject to circumstance as well as Employee’s or Salon Managements discretion*.
FOR LARGER/LONGER APPOINTMENT – You will receive a confirmation call and SMS Text/ WhatsApp message, if we do not receive a voice confirmation within the 48 hours before app your app will be cancelled.

APPOINTMENTS / RESERVATIONS
- Appointments at Highlight Salon must be secured with prior bookings via our website or by phone only & we don’t accept walk-in without prior appointments or by advance payment to secure any special offers, which credit card/Cash at the time of reservation.
- A 50% fee of the total service will be charged to your credit card for cancellations and appointments missed without a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice.
- When your request appointments from online, will be scheduled based on stylist availability. Your request will not be approved until you receive a confirmation by email or by a phone call from Highlight Salon.

- Please arrive on time for your appointment to ensure full service, as we may have to reschedule your appointment if you are excessively late.
- Kindly inform us of any special needs, allergies or sensitivities you may have so that we can better accommodate you.
SINGLE PROCESS AND HIGHLIGHTS/LOWLIGHTS
- Single process service and highlights/low lights do not include an additional glaze. If you wish to add-on a glaze to your single process and/or highlights/lowlights, please speak with your colorist and your glaze will be applied for an additional fee (For Price, please check with in-store or click on live chat).
TONER, CLEAR GLAZE AND/OR COLOR GLAZE
- The services start from AED 199/- only if having your color, highlights/lowlights done same day in the salon.
- PLEASE NOTE* Some hair types, such as curly, heavily textured, thick hair, long hair, and relaxed hair require more than one application of toner, clear glaze and/or color glaze. Every additional toner, clear glaze and/or color glaze is From AED 199/- extra.
OLAPLEX / PROTOPACK
- The OLAPLEX / PROTOPACK Treatment alone starts from AED 399 and up. If mixing OLAPLEX or PROTOPACK with color, lowlights or bleaching for highlights starts from AED 299/- per bowl of color or bleach.
- You will receive a complimentary finishing rough blowout with all color services. If you wish for a full professional blowout style after your color service you will be booked in accordingly and will receive your professional blowout style for from AED 99 – AED 199/- (if your hair also requires a flat iron service to be straightened out, you’ll be charged an additional from AED 149/-).
- PLEASE NOTE* Some hair types, such as curly, heavily textured, and relaxed hair cannot be effectively rough blow dried. In such cases it is better to leave the hair to dry naturally, and, as such, we cannot offer our complimentary rough blow dry as this will affect the integrity of your hair. Of course, if you wish to book a full professional blow dry we will make you look stunning.
- Any service correction must be within 48 hours or 02 days of initial service.
- Sorry, pets are not permitted in the salon unless they are service animals.
While we would love to meet your precious pets, please consider the allergies of our guests.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
- We gladly accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Cash (Local & International currency). No personal checks accepted and we do not give cash back or Special discounts on credit card sales.
GRATUITY / TIPS
- Gratuity/Tips is customary for good service and always left to the discretion of our clients. Please be aware that gratuities cannot be charged to your credit card.
OUR SERVICE GUARANTEE
- We make every attempt to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your experience at Highlight Salon. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed.
- All services are NON REFUNDABLE, but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge.
- The service must be a mistake from the service provider… not something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed). In case of a disagreement, a redo must be validated by management. You have 48 hours to contact the Salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction. Corrective services will not be allowed 5 days past initial service date.
- It is important you contact the Salon as soon as you are unhappy so we can schedule you As Soon As Possible for corrective service.
- Please keep in mind, using box color or going from Darker to Lighter tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
- Highlight Salon reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our staff or in some case customer insists on certain services; which may result in hair damage.
RETURN POLICY ON RETAIL PRODUCTS
- We are happy to return any retail products you purchased within 7 days of original purchase. No cash value is given and an in Salon credit will be issued.
48 HOUR OF CANCELLATION POLICY FOR ADVANCE PAYMENT
- We understand that due to your busy schedule you may have to cancel or change an appointment with us.
- In order to respect the time of both our guests and our staff, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or rescheduling at least 48 hours prior to the appointment.
- If an appointment is rescheduled 3 individual times within the 48-hour window you will be placed on a walk-in basis only.
- This is so that we may have ample time to fill the appointment time should you need to cancel your service. Appointments that are canceled less than 48 hours prior will result in an AED 50/- or 25% fee charged on your next service.
- In order to respect the time of our Stylists, if an appointment is no showed you will be subject to an AED 50 no show fee and serviced on a walk-in only basis.
- Please be advised if you NO Show on a Re-Do Reservation we will not be able to schedule a new reservation free of charge.
- Please be courteous to your Artist/stylist and other clients. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your appointment.
- Our Children’s Menu is for children under the age of 10. Children over the age of 10 are charged for full price services.
- Highlight Salon is a Family Friendly Salon, However, all children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If a Child under the age of 18 is receiving a service, a consent form must be signed prior to the service is performed.
- It is against our salon policy to perform services on clients with head lice. If a client has been diagnosed with head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 48 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed.
GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICY
- Gift certificates are valid for up to one year from the date of purchase and must be presented at time of service.
- Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable.
- Please call Highlight Salon concerning lost gift certificates.
- All gift certificates are non-refundable.
- Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
- Gift certificates are valid at Highlight Salon only for all products and services available.
NOTE: In all cases, the client’s details such as Legal Name, Valid Email ID, and Mobile Number must be registered at the reception or via Online booking.
Keep in mind that we cannot be held accountable for any articles of clothing that are harmed in any way during your service or The Highlight Salon management accepts no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables left behind in the salon premises.
For any advance booking services exceeding any offer/promotions period with amount more than AED 399/-, we take an 80% deposit at the time of booking and the 20% remaining charged in the salon after our services.
